Eco Policy

Building on the existing green framework – such as the waste water reed bed filter that cleans our waste water from the kennels before entering the sewage system – we have a 5-year plan to support and develop our precious biodiversity around the kennels and cattery.

During 2019, we continued planting the perimeter of our site with native broad leaf trees and berried shrubs and created a large wild grass area, all for the conservation of native flora and fauna. This goes hand-in-hand with our goal to create a visually interesting and secluded wild garden and an appealing environment for the dogs, whatever the season.

As we progress with the development of the grounds, we hope to create a mosaic of habitats which will allow wildlife to thrive in the wider landscape. This alongside our waste management policy, allows us to be both mindful of the environment and help to reduce our carbon footprint.
