Terms & Conditions

  • Your pet is boarded with us entirely at your own risk and whilst we take all reasonable precautions to prevent the introduction/spread of infectious diseases such as kennel cough we cannot be held responsible should your pet contract any such illness.
  • All fees must be paid by cheque or cash and are charged by the day to include both the day of arrival and the day of departure. The total fees must be paid in full even if you choose to collect your pet early. At our discretion, we may retain your pet until such time as we have cleared funds for all amounts due to us and boarding fees will continue to accrue in the meantime. Our fees may be varied from time to time and any such variations will be displayed at our premises.
  • Any bedding or belongings that you provide are left entirely at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for the same. We reserve the right to destroy any belongings not fit to return.
  • You must provide your pets’ vaccination certificate (a copy of which we will retain) confirming all appropriate vaccinations (including in the case of dogs that against kennel cough) are up to date. We cannot accept a pet for boarding when any of those vaccinations or any part of them have been given in the two weeks prior to arriving with us. We ask that all pets are treated as appropriate for worms and fleas.
  • If you have two or more pets in the same kennel/cat pen then YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE to them sharing one kennel/cat pen and exercising together PROVIDED we shall be entitled to separate your pets if we consider it necessary and YOU ACCEPT that the fees will increase accordingly thereafter.
  • You authorise us to take your pet for examination and treatment by a veterinary surgeon at either Belle Vue Veterinary Practice or such other practice as you might request if we are able to do so
  • You will pay any veterinary fees incurred during your pet’s stay either direct to the veterinary practice on your return or if we have already paid the fees then to us by way of reimbursement.
  • If your pet is not collected at the end of the boarding period and no contact/reasonable arrangements have been made or if you have failed to pay our fees then you agree that we have the right to involve such authorities/organisations to remove your pet from our premises and you expressly authorise us to hand over your pet on your behalf.
  • If your pet passes away and we are unable to contact you then you agree to us releasing the body to either Belle Vue Veterinary Practice or such other practice as we are able.
  • Should you wish to cancel or shorten your booking then we reserve the right to charge you either the full cost of the booking or a proportion of such cost depending upon how much notice you have given to us, whether we are able to re book your kennel/cat pen and if we have already turned away other customers. Whilst any deposit paid is non-refundable, a cancellation charge would not necessarily be limited to that amount.
  • To comply with the current data protection legislation you confirm that we may keep a record of your name, address, telephone numbers, e mail address, emergency contact details, information regarding your pet(s) and your vets. Further you confirm that we may contact you by telephone, letter, text, Facebook message or e mail in connection with a booking, possible booking or in an emergency. We confirm that your data will not be provided to any other person or business except as required by law or if necessary to a veterinary practice which we have contacted in connection with your pet. We will only keep your data for these purposes, destroy such data if we have no had no contact with you for 2 years and provide such data to you within 30 days of your written request.

You confirm that you will abide by these terms and conditions and any variations of these terms and conditions from time to time on every occasion your pet is boarded with us.
